The Cleveland County History Project is a community effort to preserve our county's rich history. We welcome contributions of historical materials from residents, families, and anyone with connections to Cleveland County.
What We're Looking For
We're interested in materials from Cleveland County's early history (primarily before 1930), including:
- Photographs - Historic images of people, places, buildings, events
- Documents - Deeds, letters, business records, newspapers, church records
- Maps - Historical maps showing county development
- Stories - Family histories, personal recollections, documented accounts
- Information - Details about mills, hotels, churches, schools, businesses

Important Information
Ownership: You retain ownership of your original materials. We ask permission to digitize and display copies in our online archive.
Credit: We're happy to credit contributors as desired, or materials can be donated anonymously.
Preservation: All materials are handled with care. Original documents and photographs can be returned after scanning if desired.
Accuracy: We strive for historical accuracy. If you notice any errors in our collection, please let us know!
